A 'LETTER', A LIE & A RAT...OR A VERY CONVENIENT SCAM TO DISTRACT FROM JURAT WHO LOOKED THE OTHER WAY ON EVIDENCE AGAINST A CHILD ABUSER

A quick post tonight but one of grave importance, particularly if you are one of the dwindling number who puts any faith In what you will be told by the Jersey MSM tomorrow - such as the infamous Jersey Evening Pravda. Indeed, with quite remarkable coincidence the story I outline below all raised its head just days after we had lodged our court papers in regard to our November 25th application to appeal against the now infamous ruling which went against us in the '4 x the salary, darling!' defamation case.

Court papers, of course, that demonstrate beyond the remotest shadow of a doubt how the absolute right guaranteed under Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights i.e. for all people - including even Bolshie 'anti-Establishment' politicians who ask difficult questions - to have a fair trial had been completely disregarded by those at the apex of Jersey's 'justice' system.

What happened in this latest unfolding of skulduggery was basically this.

Whilst looking after my mum at the end of last week, I was interrupted by a phone call from one Andy Sibcy - heir apparent to the role of Editor of the JEP. Within this call Sibcy attempted to force me into commenting on what he claimed was a 'letter' threatening a number of individuals with, he said, 'having their homes burnt down' should we lose our home as a result of the above said court case decision we are appealing against.

Obviously I informed Sibcy that I knew nothing about this whatsoever;  and also pointed out that it was a bit difficult to comment upon something which I had obviously not seen and consequently could not know the full content of. I further asked Sibcy to tell me exactly what the 'letter' (no 'letter' actually exists but more on that later) said; further still, who were these 'several' individuals who had allegedly received it. Sibcy blankly refused on both counts.

Alarm bells to yet more possible dirty tricks were already beginning to ring very loudly.

After all, where else would the verdict of just two Jurats - one who had not only been proven to have a history of happily disregarding evidence against a predatory paedophile; but had also been caught out having taken a director of the JEP's owning company to dinner at his own home be allowed to stand once these breaches of the ECHR had been highlighted for the authorities as they had done here in Jersey? The answer of course is nowhere.

So how credible really was it now that anyone allegedly receiving a serious threat relating to our case (allegedly) would run to the good old JEP or any media instead of just to the Police? It wasn't I concluded. Not unless there was an ulterior motive here and a very serious one at that.

Yet Andy Sibcy was telling me that this 'letter' I wasn't allowed to know the full content of; nor to know how credible the individuals were who had allegedly received it, was 'clearly' emanating from 'our supporters' and by extension Shona and I ourselves. Of course, as with so much of the misrepresented rubbish and  even smears the Jersey Evening Pravda churn out against those who don't toe the Establishment Party line, Sibcy's justification for such a claim was non existent.

Sibcy, it seems, had just decided in time honoured Pravda fashion that this was the case. A little matter which made the fact that his 'newspaper' was apparently planning to run a cover story inferring this the very next day even more concerning. Obviously should any such incident genuinely have arisen from any 'supporter' known to Shona or I we would condemn such an action.

Not only would such behaviour be wholly wrong - we simply do not need any such actions: our case is rock solid and try as the Establishment might (and no doubt will) ultimately, whether here or via the Privy Council or Strasbourg, Jersey's  kangaroo 'justice' system will be brought to book for not insuring the ECHR Article 6 court process which was our right. No, the whole thing smelt of a set up.

Our biggest concern - and the concern that ultimately informed our decision to seek a temporary injunction on this nonsense being published was that some of those who had allegedly received this threatening 'letter' might be from within the judiciary - a judiciary of course who in just two and a half weeks we would be appealing to for justice!

Thus to cut a very long story short (for the present time) with both Pravda and even the Police - who I had contacted straightaway - completely refusing to give me any details ,we made the decision to seek the said temporary injunction to stand just until the day after our appeal hearing would be concluded. Hopefully by which time the Police investigation would also have brought to book the culprits.

This initial request for a temporary injunction until we could find out the truth was granted by Mr Pitchers QC, until a court hearing to ascertain more details could take place today at 4pm.

Of course, as we were to eventually find out - if only Mr Sibcy would have been a bit more forthcoming with his over-the-top hype to try and make me comment and accept his spin on things as to what had allegedly taken place; and as to the contents of the 'letter' we really wouldn't have bothered. Yes, whilst unpleasant to be sure it really was in truth that much of a non-story. Unless, I suppose, you are a party hoping to damage another without any justification or evidence for some reason?

For lo and behold, shortly before going to court I was eventually able to pin down the Police Officers who were investigating the case. It was, even with their understandable inability to tell me everything with an investigation to run, starkly illuminating in comparison with the Sibcy and Pravda version.

I wasn't a suspect in being behind this. Shona was not a suspect in being behind this. Indeed, contrary to the JEP claims the Police confirmed there was also absolutely no evidence or credible suggestion that the 'letter' (more on that in a minute, honest!) must have 'clearly' emanated from what Sibcy called 'our supporters' at all! It was just bull. The rat if I may use that term began to smell even more strongly!

And yet on going to court for the hearing we were to be in for even more shocks. The alleged 'letter' didn't as I say exist at all. All that did - and suddenly thanks to the judge the JEP had to allow Shona and I to finally see it as they could have done when Sibcy was spinning his story - was nothing more than 5 scrawled and badly written lines in what looks like marker pen. A note of just 16 words. Its content not even a shadow of the abuse Shona and I - as with many others - have complained to the Police, the Data Protection Office, and the Attorney General about on numerous occasions. And guess what else?

  • It did not even refer to either Shona or me by name at any point!
  • It did not even specifically mention our court case by name!
  • Indeed, just as the Police said it did not provide even the remotest justification for Sibcy's claim that it 'clearly' came from 'our supporters'!

Odd then how the JEP had managed to contrive such a potentially damaging, for both our case and, indeed, our public reputation interpretation of this note? The undeniable fact was it had all of the suggestions of an attempted stitch up from someone wanting to try and discredit Shona and I and with it undermine our appeal against the failings of the Jersey courts.

And yet the stink arising from this stunt was about to reach heights that would even make a Jersey tax avoidance 'sniff test' official suspicious. For we finally got to know the 4 names of the apparent recipients.
  • Lawyer for the Jersey Evening Post, Advocate Danny Le Maistre
  •  Lawyer for Broadlands/1st Jersey Limited, Advocate David Steenson
  • The individual behind the infamous '4 x the salary, darling!'advert/cartoon Mr Roger Trower

And finally....

One Deputy Sean Power!

Yes, you read that correctly - Deputy Sean Power. A man who hasn't got the remotest link to our court case in any way. But a man who has only recently been afforded the front page of the Jersey Evening Post to spin lies about us relating to a planning application. Lies, of course, for which he has been asked to apologise for by the Minister for the Environment, Deputy Rob Duhamel, after Shona publicly exposed him and requested that the Minister take action. An apology, for which we still await.

Deputy Sean Power: a man who you might recall had to resign in shame as Minister for Housing after he was caught out having stolen personal e-mails from Deputy Judy Martin relating to her friend, the Deputy of Grouville. E-mails which then ended up on an sickening Internet hate site. A man who we can only conclude appears to have some kind of warped personal vendetta against Shona and I, of the sort you might usually associate with the likes of a deranged Internet troll perhaps?

And that - for now - is where I will leave it. This attempt to link either Shona or myself, or indeed any of 'our supporters' has about as much credibility as a Jurat who refuses to look at evidence against a paedophile. It stinks of set up. And it needs the Police to leave no stone unturned in bringing those behind it to court. Trouble is with our experience of 'justice' in Jersey even if the Police do so, those behind it will likely be referred to just a parish hall inquiry for their sins. Its just 'the Jersey Way'...

Meanwhile, the Police have been handed two names by me which really do merit the most rapid and thorough investigation possible.  To this regard I am confident that not even Andy Sibcy or his Pravda employers could sell either one to the public as being 'our supporters'  in a month of Sundays. Of course, when people are desperate they still may well try....

Keep the Faith. The Privy Council and if necessary Strasbourg grow ever closer and with this ultimately a Justice system where that justice will at last be guaranteed for all. Truth will always win out in the end.

  1. Sean Power? The very mention of this creatures name should show it for what it surely is. An attempt at a stitch-up. You obviously have some people worried Trevor.

  4. The JEP and the fictitious letter writing game. With yourself being the target once again.

I seem to recall various current and ex politicians previously who have been allegedly targeted by threatening phone calls and letters.

I am sure your readers will recall the names of those that alleged this.

    PR trick.

  5. Indeed, a shameful display from the BBC Jersey today in allowing Sean Power to try and re-write history with his 'poor me' story. We gave a lengthy interview to the BBC last night which was not used - yet they allow Power to do this. Perhaps BBC Jersey boss Jon Gripton's disgusting promotion of an internet hate site via his Twitter account- for which he faced complaints to the UK - becomes all the clearer? Incidentally even yesterday evening Gripton still was not man enough to apologise to the woman his 'amusing' promoted hate site was aimed at! Impartial BBC indeed.. Funny how the BBC did not even mention what the judge and police have said - absolutely no justification whatsoever for the JEP or anyone to try and link these notes to either us or our supporters.

Nothing should surprise any more, but this truly is farcical. Does not bode well for any improvement in the Filthy Rag next year when CB retires. Still with Christmas approaching this would make good panto material.

  7. There will be tears come the elections, goodbye Sean, goodbye Maclean, goodbye Pryke, Ozouf and Le Marquand all dumped by the big number of silent electors, along with their out of control partners in the States.

The invisible electorate that in the privacy of their homes, read the truth from their computer screens, and are appalled at the quality of members of this Government, and will know who [ not ] to vote for in eleven months time.

  9. Sean Power can try to rewrite history if he likes, but he won't succeed. He's left too much a slime trail behind him, and no amount of mysterious missappropriated funding by Emma Martins for illegal Data Protection actions or illegal hacking and removing posts off the blogs of Pindown victims is going to fade that trail of slime!

  11. Will the four receipients need to produce the alleged letters.

threatened them into 'having their homes burnt down' should we lose our home as a result of the above said court case decision?

If the named recipients have no such letters, how then did these four names come to be mentioned?

  14. On reading the Jersey Evening Post, it would appear the police should have two letters in its possession as evidence.

One letter from Roger Trower and one from Sean Power

Mr Power contacted the police and learnt the identities of the other recipients.

Therefor the police must have the other letters?

  15. For the record the JEP refused to let me know any names or details of 'letters' when telling me by phone they were going to run 'story' claiming 'threatening letters' CLEARLY must have come from our supporters and by extension us.

With concern that these had been sent to members of the judiciary who could be involved in our appeal we had little choice but to seek a TEMPORARY injunction to prevent these lies.

The JEP of course then had to change their story when judge ordered that we must see them AND made clear there was no link to either us or our supporters. Contrary to the lies also spun by Channel tonight.

Funnily enough at the end of the hearing the lawyer for the JEP attempted to get the judge to ban us from publishing their revised statement on the net. Andy Sibcy = Hypocrite?

  18. ''a letter threatening a number of individuals''

I take it, that letters source could of been an alleged letter sent to Danny Le Maistre Lawyer for the JEP.

How would Andy sibcy know at the stage, of ''a letter'' that there was more than one sent if the individuals were not named within that letter?

    ReplyDelete
  19. On Wed Andy Sibcy contacted You, according to the JEP report they had been made aware of the letters last week. knowing there were a a number of individuals received letter so more than one at that stage. Sir Christopher ''There is no suggestion, nor would there be, that these letters were sent either by Mr or Mrs Pitman or their supporters. No one knows at this time who sent those letters''.

In my opinion the JEP, being the other party to the court case, are as linked to the letters as the Pitmans allegedly are.

Mr Trower allegedly received his letter at the end of last week. Wed being middle of the week Mr Trower phoned the police straight away. So How would Mr Sibcy on Wed be aware of that particular letter? Deputy Powers only arrived on his return to the Island after the weekend away opened his on the Sunday Mr. Sibcy would not be aware of that letter on the Wed he phoned you. Mr. Power phoned the police. Should be two phone calls to the police one from Mr Trower on Wednesday and Mr Power Sunday or Monday prior to this article. Will the States of Jersey police add this to their unsolved crimes?

    1. Andy Sibcy of the JEP is very welcome to come on here and explain himself. Trouble is readers Sibcy has already now exposed himself as a cowardly liar.

He would not face the judge but instead just hid behind the JEP's lawyer because the judge confirmed what Shona and I had said and which completely contradicted the garbage Sibcy had claimed.

Indeed, lets spell it out.. Sibcy is a liar who knows full well what his threat to me was when he contacted me at my mums. In his words the 'letters' CLEARLY MUST BE LINKED TO OUR/MY SUPPORTERS. And by extension us.

He wanted to force me to apoligise for them. Apologise for things he was trying to get me to believe were true when we now know they were certainly not. Thank God I didn't buy it.

This garbage was the story Sibcy told me the JEP would be running. He also of course refused to give me any details of what the 'letters' said and more importantly still WHO they were sent to.

He also claimed that the police had confirmed all of this to the JEP. When asked dowwn at the station after I went in to find out the truth...the Police said not.

With this being the attitude from Sibcy we really had little option but to seek a temporary injunction whilst we tried to find out more facts.

Please also remember. The JEP and Sibcy are even bigger hypocrites because whilst writing their headline about us seeking to GAG the JEP - their lawyer then attempted to have Shona and I GAGGED as they were scared of us exposing their hastily modified story which the juddge had forced them to hand over to us.

It was only then that we all laughed when we saw that one of the said 'victims' was notorious e-mail thief and cowardly liar Deputy Sean Power.

Will the Police get anywhere with their investigation? Like many I think it will just be allowed to die a death now that certain people think it will have served its purpose. A bit like the numerous investigations into complaints against the Jersey troll go nowhere even though the evidence is there.Exposing the key players behind this hateful scam would almost certainly be just too damaging.

Personally I want the Police investigation to succeed. Because I repeat I am happy to wager these 'letters' are nothing more than fakes designed by a couple of very sad and twisted people.

People whose names the Police already have.. .

  24. You know I just love the abusive posts I - like a number of others - keep getting from a 'man' I can only describe as Sean Power's ideal little chum.

The abuse - clearly under the influence of half a gallon of Stella - really says so much.

But what I want to know from Seanor his ideal chum is this: can Sean tell us if he has been re-interviewed by the Police yet? Come on, Sean. Answers via e-mail or even in marker pen readily accepted...

  30. I confess to reading the Evening Post, but purchase it probably twice a month. The reason I mention this, is that a big red delivery van drives around Jersey with a poster on the side which reads 90% of adults read the JEP.

The pub that I pop into buys its own paper and it gets read until its dog earned, which proves fewer people waste their money buying their own copy.

  31. As someone rightly said to me - this letter scam is a very good way to try and distract from the fact that the JEP/Broadlands etc are still seeking to benefit from a court process where Michael Birt had allowed a man who had looked the other way on crucial evidence against a predatory paedophile to sit as a Jurat and pass judgements on people!

A man of course who also is happy to flout the rules applying to Jurats to even take a director of the JEPs owners to diner at his own home! When will the UK Justice MInistry or the L/Governor actually do something about this breach of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights?

    ReplyDelete
  32. In fact the above point was so relevant upon reflection I even added it to the title of this post. Meanwhile, I do hope the Police are being thorough enough to check if the fingerprints of any of the recipients of these 'letters' also happen to be on the 'letters' sent to others? Basic police work of course.

  43. This reminds me of the threatening email farce a few years ago when I had Stafford Police banging on my door over threatening emails I was supposed to have sent that didn't even exist that the police couldn't even be bothered to check actually existed. On the other hand, I had RECIEVED threatening emails off the woman I was falsely accused (by her, and, as I think now, egged on by one of her friends who is a member of MI5) threatening to post all my Social Service and Medical records online, which include a falsified Police Statement from when I was picked up by the police aged 13 as a runaway, trying to escape from being abused.

But when I tried to show the police the real and existing threatening letter, that I had recieved, plus the emails that I had sent urging the woman who was threatening me not to do it, plus telling her she was a wicked woman to do that to me (which isn't a crime, telling a wicked person straight up that they're wicked is just telling the truth, its not a crime, Jesus did it so it can't be a crime!) the police told me that they were "going to draw a line under it". They weren't interested at all in crimes committed against me. It has made me feel like an outlaw, like I have no access to the justice system, and only my faith in God keeps me strong.

I don't want all my Social Service and Medical records all posted online, in case I ever need them for a trial. Thats why I have only posted a few papers, just enough to prove that I genuinly was abused in "care".

Keep the faith Trevor and Shona, xxx

    ReplyDelete
  44. "I believe the arson letter case is solvable."

Of course it is, because the police can get lab tests done of the ink and the paper, and get a handwriting expert to analyse the handwriting.

I don't think it costs a lot of money to do that, because I've been watching a program about identifying antiques, I think its called Antique Detective, and they look at artifacts to find out their history, if television people can do that for entertainment then it should be easy enough for the police to do it to trace crime, and would be a better use of public money than sending police to arrest and jail whistleblowers of institutional child abuse!

  49. Deputy Pitman, perhaps you should be speaking to John Hemming MP and explaining exactly what our politicised judiciary is up to in this island.

You may not agree with ex-Senator Stuart Syvret’s methods, but by direct personal experience you have come to know the truth of why he is prepared to go to prison.

A semi-feudal politicised-judiciary has no place in a 21st century democracy; we the people of this island want real democracy.

We are British (we hold British passports), we want freedom, and we want the Judiciary and The City of London Corporation’s “big money” controlling interests out of our government now!

You are a politician; actively forge real political links with like-minded MP’s in Parliament such as John Hemming and put real political pressure on the States of Jersey to reform itself, align yourself with a U.K. political party and actively work together with that party to make real change happen in this island.

See House of Commons - Early Day Motion 685 - tabled by John Hemming MP on the 6th of November 2013:

    http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2013-14/685

IMPRISONMENT OF EX-SENATOR STUART SYVRET IN JERSEY

That this House notes that Stuart Syvret who was previously elected as a senator in Jersey has been imprisoned for three months for making allegations on his blog about Andrew Marolia, David Minty, David Wherry and Jonathan Sharrock Haworth, who had previously obtained a super-injunction against him under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; further notes that the use of this law would cover all allegations whether they are true or not; believes that this is a chilling affront to freedom of speech and that before someone could be imprisoned for making allegations it should be shown that the allegations made are not true; further notes that Jersey still does not have a system of private prosecution, nor does it have the facility to judicially review prosecutory decisions; recognises that this means if people who are friends with those in power have committed criminal acts it is impossible to have those issues considered in an open court and that it is clear that the state will move to imprison people for making allegations about criminal offences not being prosecuted whether or not this is true; further believes that the Government should not be so complacent about the institutional failures in Jersey; and calls for Ministers to review the situation and report to Parliament.

Of course, what is not public is that indivduals seeking similar support from theJersey Data Protection Commissioner's Office to bring the island's biggest cyber thug to book was denied. Denied for no justifiable reason whatsoever. I guess it just comes down to who you are and what purpose your abuse serves/who you are attacking. I think they call it 'the Jersey Way'.

    2. It is quite a strange coincidence that ex-Senator Stuart Syvret and yourself who have both attempted to raise legitimate issues regarding child abuse in the States Chamber suddenly become embroiled in “fabricated” scandal in the Jersey Evening Post, BBC Radio Jersey and on Channel News, effectively turning you into political lepers overnight.

      Why is this?

Well, look at the bigger picture Deputy Pitman...

What would happen if the people of this island found out the truth that the U.K. Government and Monarchy turned a blind eye and covered up the child abuse scandal on this island purely to make sure that the Bank of England (City of London Corporation) was still able to trade through the island as a tax haven to bankroll H.M. armed forces.

You see, this is what all this is really about, keeping Jersey as a cash cow which is milked to fund the U.K.’s war machine.

The U.K. is economically on its knees; the last Labour Government left it bankrupt, so how does a practically bankrupt country which cannot even manage to fund the N.H.S. still manage to find billions to continuously year-after-year pay for its armed forces to keep fighting in places such as Afghanistan?

Though its ex-British Empire TAX HAVENS!

And be in no doubt, Jersey is a TAX HAVEN...

Everything in this island is geared towards one common purpose, which is to make enough money to continually fund H.M. Armed Forces...

The child abuse scandal threatens to de-rail Jersey politically, and turn the U.K. Government and Monarchy’s Tax Haven Cash-Cow into a train wreck which would cut off funding for its armed forces!

A politician who challenges the status-quo of this island as a Ministry of Defence “cash cow”, challenges the U.K. Government, H.M. the Queen and the City of London Corporation’s vested interests which are all represented by the politicised-Judiciary and unelected members of a semi-feudal apparatus sitting in the States of Jersey (as well as other elected States Members who also have aligned themselves to the same cause).

The establishment sitting in the States of Jersey is there for only one purpose, to make sure H.M. Armed forces are funded by a Jersey TAX HAVEN.

You Deputy Pitman, just like ex-Senator Syvret threaten that funding!

Hope you got the local female BBC radio DJ interviewing MP John Hemming, the day before yesterday, regarding his EDM on Syvret.
He shot her down in flames!

  53. Please wake up Deputy Pitman!

Where do you think the Monarchy and U.K. Government gets the money to bank-roll its armed forces?

    Through its TAX HAVENS!

    Penny dropped yet?

  55. Will have a new post up tomorrow which shows just how the JEP's attempt to smear us in falsely linking us to the bogus 'threatening' letter scam should be viewed.

  56. You can't delete a tweet if it has been RT for Mr Power to have deleted the tweet below he would of needed to contact the person who RT it to get him to delete his RT before Mr Power could delete the original.

Why are both of them deleting it? ?

Gary Burgess CTV RT Sean Powers tweet of the 30th.

Why would he do that, unless he knew the story being prepared as of that date.

Jersey politics can be ugly and has just taken a turn for the worse. More to follow but suffice to say there are strange people out there.
