BALD TRUTH REVIEW 2014 BY-ELECTION SPECIAL.

The return of the Bald Truth Review! With the BTR due to be re-vamped and re-launched over the coming weeks having been asked by so many people to make some personal comment on the forthcoming St. Helier by elections I'm very pleased to now offer a short video review doing just that.

Okay, so for some reason a couple of Establishment gremlins got into the audio for a few seconds at the beginning of the video, but here are the answers to the key questions people have been putting to me over the past few weeks.

Questions like: are there actually any candidates putting themselves forward in the by-elections who are genuinely worth your vote? Indeed, do States Members even hold the real power in this Island at all?

Answers that you will only be able to listen to here via Citizens' Media - Jersey's only media conduit for the truth!

Keep the Faith.

Trevor

  1. Just to state the obvious i.e. that I have been experiencing some technical problems in uploading this video. I hope to have these sorted early tomorrow. In the meantime, apologies, but please just focus on the issues which the short video flags up for debate. Thanks.

  3. Those seats were stolen from you and Shona by a corrupt royal court and fair play to you for giving Sam Mezec and Nick Le Cornu your endorsement with so much humility.

  4. Many thanks Trevor for the endorsement of Sam Mezec and I for the vacated Deputy seats in Districts No.1 and No.2.

Rest assured that we shall keep up the fight for justice and democracy. We will deepen that struggle by organising working people to fight for themselves and their interests against exploitation and oppression of all forms.

    1. It is essential that after March 5th we have two new Deputies who will continue the fight for Jersey's ordinary people - people who have always been the backbone go this Island's success - as Shona and I have done in winning election to the States no fewer than five times between us. I very much hope both you and Sam can ensure all of that hard work is continued whilst some us take the battle on to a wider stage.

  5. Nick Le cornu is the Only candidate that knocked on my door. A leaflet from Paul Le Claire and one from Ian Philpott. That it.

    1. Well, given that Ian Philpott is actually standing in No. 2 district, just shows how well he is running his campaign if he is delivering leaflets to No. 1 addresses!

    2. I think at least one of those three might be confused as to what district they are standing in!

  6. Yes indeed, the two comments above say a great deal. Even though Mr Philpott may - and probably did - just give the leaflets to someone else to deliver it certainly doesn't say a lot for the candidate's knowledge of the district he says he cares about and wants to represent. Sloppy.

  7. Look at what's been done to you Trevor, Shona, Syvret, Harper, Power. The establishment and media have done everything it can to destroy you and have done a pretty good job. Do you think Mezec and Le Cornu will have the courage you lot have shown to bring the rule of law to Jersey?

    1. Well, I would certainly like to think so. However, as one lady commented to me in town the other day, being prepared to put everything you have on the line for the principle of truth/justice being at the core of democracy actually takes a lot of TF.

I would suggest your question actually takes us back to the example I gave a few weeks ago about my conversation with two States Members who wanted to tell me that 'just because we don't speak out doesn't mean we agree with all that has been done to people like yourselves.'

Such silence actually enables the corruption to happen. I just hope Richard and Deidre now realise that...

    2. Do Not Forget David Bridges Who stood up to them as well Tim Le Cocq and Holidays for Heroes a bogus Charity that will not show their accounts to the general publiceasurer of the States) (shadow Directors Frank Walker and Bob Gaiger ex Tr ex owner BleuSoleil Campsite in St Ouen, who is now destitute and tried to commit suicide many times of the abuse of power on this Island

  8. Still having some techno problems which I can only - again - say sorry for and normal service will hopefully be resumed soon once my IT person has got to work on what is causing the problem. I should also probably quickly point out for the umpteenth time that I have no intention of publishing comments sent in to try and gain a certain individual some publicity. Please go elsewhere.

  9. The States is full of cowards who keep their mouths shut and the latest member to the group of cowards is Steve Pallett by keeping his mouth closed about the prison saga.

  10. Have to chuckle. Had a comment from my cyber stalker suggesting that standing up against bullying and abuses of our 'justice' system results in losing ones respect! Incredible from an individual who is respected by not a single soul!

  11. Thanks to my admin for sorting out the technical glitch with the video.

  12. I wish everybody would stop attacking each other on Twitter, Facebook and Blogs.
It does nothing for voter enthusiasm, it says nothing about the candidates standing and its proven to be self destructive in the past. This is a general observation and not aimed at anybody specific.

  13. I really enjoyed this. Loved the Benny Hill bit, entirely appropriate. I also agree with your assessment of Nick Le cornu, and I don't believe for one minute that he would be seduced by the establishment. Sam Mezec however, I think is a different animal. Well meaning, sincere and intelligent, but unaware of the harsh reality of life. I believe you are displaying the same naivety in endorsing Sam, as you showed when attempting to sue the Rag. Sam, if elected, is the perfect establishment target, for all his attributes previously mentioned, he has a law degree for gods sake. They will turn him, its just a question of when. I voted for you Trevor and believe you were wronged. I will not vote again. If I did, it would be for Sam And Nick,I have no axe to grind. Just wanted to point this out. All the best for the future.

  14. So if the UK has rejected your appeal isn't it time to stop bullshitting yourselves and just accept that the JEP and Broadlands won?

    1. Dear numpty. Don't believe what you read in the pages of Chris Not So Bright. As pointed out previously, Strasbourg was always the target because of the City of London link with Jersey and the need for them to keep playing along - even though behind the scenes things are happening. But simply try and let this sink in. Imagine if within the next few days even the bent court system of Michael Birt has to concede as a step too far that the Privy Council DO have the jurisdiction and should be considering the appeal... The good thing of course, this is all helping the long term case when this abusive farce gets to Strasbourg. As for Trower's Broadlands and the JEP 'winning' - they only did this via those little matters the rag and Jersey's MSM don't like to mention. A dishonest Jurat who has a history of disregarding child abuse evidence AND who was taking a director of the JEP's owners - a person with huge financial interests the court allowed the Rag to keep from disclosure - to diner at his house! Ah 'The Jersey Way' in all of its glory!

  15. You hit the nail on the head with the numpty comment. Trouble is you can lead a horse to water show them all of the evidence, as you and people like Stuart and Mike Higgins have done again and again, but you can't make such people drink so to speak. People like your numpty possibly have special reasons for not wanting to face up our cesspit of a Royal Court and it's lordlings?
